Young Man Dies In Single Vehicle Crash

PARTLOW, Va. – A single vehicle crash claimed the life of a Spotsylvania man. 

According to a media statement by Major Troy Skebo of the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office (SSO), the incident occurred June 30, 2024. 

At 12:14 a.m., deputies responded to reports of a Chevrolet Pickup crashed into a tree in the 10000 block of Wallers Road.

The driver and sole occupant was identified as Robert “Robbie” Andrew Green, 20. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Funeral services were held on July 5 at Crossroad Baptist Church in Fredericksburg.  An online donation site indicates that friends and family have organized a fundraising campaign to assist with costs.  

The crash is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction Team.

Partlow is a small rural community, and is located 31 miles northwest of the city of Richmond.
