FRONT ROYAL, Va. – Two men are now behind bars after they robbed a convenience store and assaulted a cashier.

According to a media release from the Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), the incident happened Saturday, July 27, 2024.

Deputies responded to the Edinburg Family Convenience store on Stoney Creek Boulevard in Edinburg, for a reported armed robbery.

According to witnesses, two male subjects had entered the store and physically assaulted the cashier. One suspect possessed a firearm. Items were taken from the store and the suspects fled the scene.

A quick investigation led police to a Honey Farm Lane residence in Front Royal.

Deputies with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) assisted with the location of the two suspects and their arrests.

Warrants were obtained to execute searches of the residence and the vehicle used by the two men.
