Shopping early for the holidays can save money, time, and prevent last-minute impulse buys out of sheer desperation. Walmart understands consumers are budget conscious this year and want to spread holiday cheer without blowing their budgets. That’s why they are rolling out Holiday Deals in October!

The State of Consumer Holiday Shopping 2024 consumer survey indicates 68% of consumers plan to begin their holiday shopping well before mid-November.

“We know many of our customers are beginning to prepare for their holiday celebrations early, and we’ve adapted our approach to best meet their needs,” said Latriece Watkins, Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer, Walmart, USA, said in a recent press release. “We’ve worked hard to lower prices across our most exciting assortment ever, and we’re thrilled to give customers more of what they want this holiday — more time to prepare and more opportunities to save all season long.”

The first Holiday Deals event of the season is October 8–13, 2024. Walmart will be offering some of its hottest deals of the season on everything from toys, home decor, electronics, and fashion. There will be opportunities to get something special for everyone on your list at a great price. Below are just a few of the fantastic deals thrifty shoppers won’t want to miss.

Are any of your loved ones gamers? Check out the GTRACING Gaming Office Chair PU Leather with Footrest and Adjustable Headrest for Adults and Kids. It was $249.00, but you can score it for just $99.99. That’s a savings of $150.00!

Is there a gift swap at the office? Consider the Better Homes Gardents 14 oz. Farm Apple Pumpkin Scented Wooden Wick Jar Candle. It was $10.87 but during the event, you can get one for only $5.00. This is the perfect item to stock up on to acknowledge important people in your life like teachers, hairdressers, and neighbors without a strain on your budget.

Breathe easier with the DR. J. Professional HEPA Air Purifier for large rooms up to 2,500 square feet. It was $179.99 but you can get it for $69.99. That’s a $110.00 savings!

You can delight kids who are fans of the movie Lilo and Stitch with the LEGO Disney Stictch Toy Building Kit. LEGOs are always a safe bet when shopping for children. This item was $64.99, but you can get it for $51.95.

Life is messy, but you can clean it up with the BISSELL Little Green Pro Portable Carpet Cleaner. It was $153.00, but during the event, Walmart is offering it for $109.00.

One of Walmart’s Special Buys is the 98" onn. Roku TV. It will be available for $1,498.

If you have a handyman or woman on your list, keep the HART 215-Piece Mechanics Tool Set in mind. The tools have a chrome plate finish and are rust resistant. It comes with a limited lifetime warranty. Large markings on the sockets make selecting the right size a breeze. It was $158, but it is going to be $98 during the first Holiday Deals event.
