🚧 Update: Bridge Work on NY 9N at US 9 in Elizabethtown to Cause Alternating Lane Closures

In an effort to ensure safe and efficient travel for commuters, the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) has announced ongoing bridge work on NY 9N in both directions at the intersection with US 9 near Water Street. The construction, located at the bridge over Bouquet River in Elizabethtown, will result in alternating lane closures controlled by traffic signals to accommodate travelers while the work is being carried out. The bridge work is scheduled to continue every weekday, starting from Wednesday, April 10th, 2024 at 12:00 AM through Friday, October 18th, 2024 at 11:59 PM. Work crews will be actively on-site from 7 AM until 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Drivers are advised to plan their travels accordingly and expect minor delays due to the alternating traffic patterns.
