⛏️ Caltrans Crews Make Progress Clearing Sonora Pass

Maintenance teams from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) have been hard at work on Sonora Pass this week. Crews from Caltrans District 9 and Caltrans District 10 have been plowing snow on either side of the pass, with the former approaching from Sonora Junction and the latter progressing upwards from Long Barn. The teams are diligently plowing the pass and will continue to do so until they meet on the summit. This cooperative effort ensures the timely reopening of the pass, which is crucial for local transportation and access.
