🚧 Maintenance Work to Cause Delays on SR-20 in Nevada County Throughout May 🚧

Local motorists planning to traverse SR-20 in the areas between the Yuba/Nevada County line and Pleasant Valley Road should anticipate delays estimated at 10-15 minutes for the remainder of the month. Maintenance efforts to seal pavement cracks are underway and will continue from May 7 through May 30. The Nevada County maintenance crews will be performing these necessary repairs from Monday to Thursday, during the hours of 8 AM to 4 PM. The operations are part of infrastructure preservation and safety enhancements for all road users. The local community and commuters should plan their travel schedules accordingly to accommodate this temporary inconvenience. The Transport Authority along with the California Highway Patrol of the Grass Valley area (@CHPgv) has committed to keeping disruptions to a minimum while these improvements are made to the state route.
