🚧 Mohawk Valley Work Zone Safety Update: 'Operation Hardhat' in Action 🚧

In an ongoing effort to improve safety within work zones and reduce incidents, the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT), alongside the New York State Thruway Authority and the New York State Police, continues to enforce 'Operation Hardhat.' This annual initiative aims to target and penalize reckless drivers who endanger the lives of road workers through irresponsible driving behaviors, especially speeding. To date, authorities have issued 657 violations, highlighting the necessity of this campaign.
