YMCA CEO resigns to focus on camp rebuilding
YMCA CEO Mike Murphy has stepped down from the top leadership role to focus on rebuilding Camp Leif Ericson. The longtime Sioux Falls camp was heavily damaged in June’s flooding. The YMCA recently announced it exceeded a $100,000 fundraising effort to help restore the camp so it can host campers yet this summer.

Northeast Research Farm is located at 15710 455th Ave., South Shore, about 2½ miles west of Interstate 20 off Exit 193. The field day starts at 4 p.m. and includes a catered meal.
