In the heart of Boca Raton, Florida, a newly completed residence is setting a new standard for luxury and resilience. Listed at $6.85 million, this cutting-edge home promises more than just opulent living; it’s engineered to defy nature’s fury, withstanding winds up to 200 miles per hour.

Crafted entirely from steel supports and poured concrete, this home embodies the pinnacle of hurricane-resistant design. Utilizing insulated concrete forms (ICF), it stands as a testament to architectural innovation and safety, inspired by the indomitable spirit of structures that survived Hurricane Michael's devastation in 2018. Developer Meir Kroll highlights a remarkable image from that storm: amid widespread destruction, one ICF home stood unscathed, a symbol of enduring strength.

The property, which emerged on the market this week, has drawn keen interest not only for its robust construction but also for its contemporary elegance. Senada Adzem of Douglas Elliman, who is marketing the home alongside Brian Ross, notes the growing importance of environmental and safety considerations for today’s buyers. “Clients want reassurance that their sanctuary will remain intact, even when they’re away,” she emphasizes.

Kroll, a Los Angeles native who transitioned to Florida in 2021, embarked on this project with a vision shaped by his experiences in high-end development. After acquiring the Boca Raton site for $840,000 in 2022, Kroll embarked on crafting his inaugural Florida project. This nearly 7,000-square-foot home diverges from the area’s typical Mediterranean designs, drawing inspiration from the refined villas of Mallorca through the lens of Spanish architect Jorge Bibiloni Studio.

With a sleek white exterior accented by dark wood, the residence harmonizes with its surroundings while standing out with its modernist charm. The design philosophy, described by Kroll as “warm contemporary but minimalist,” contrasts with the more extravagant spec homes prevalent in the region. This subtle yet striking aesthetic celebrates understated luxury.

Inside, the home’s two-story layout boasts five bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, and one half-bath. The primary suite features expansive walk-in closets and a formal sitting area, reflecting a commitment to comfort and functionality. The first floor seamlessly extends to a covered patio equipped with a summer kitchen, outdoor dining space, and a heated pool and spa. An upper-level sundeck offers sweeping views of the adjacent golf course, blending relaxation with scenic beauty.

In an era where resilience and elegance converge, this Boca Raton gem stands as a model of innovative luxury living, inviting prospective buyers to experience a sanctuary that promises both safety and sophistication.
