Mitchell Trubisky Sells Pennsylvania Mansion Below Asking Price Ahead of NFL Season

In the tranquil suburb of Sewickley, Pennsylvania, Buffalo Bills quarterback Mitchell Trubisky has parted ways with his sprawling estate, selling the property for $1.66 million—falling short of the original $1.9 million asking price. The sale comes just weeks before the NFL season kicks off, marking another transition for the 30-year-old athlete as he re-establishes himself with the Buffalo Bills after a stint with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Trubisky, who made headlines in March by returning to the Bills after two seasons with the Steelers, had initially listed his 5,230-square-foot mansion in tandem with his career move. Although he didn't score the full price he had hoped for, the $1.66 million sale still provides a tidy sum that complements his lucrative two-year, $5.25 million contract with the Bills. Included in that contract is a $1.5 million signing bonus, a financial cushion that should make the lower sale price more palatable.

The Sewickley property, a blend of luxury and comfort, reflects Trubisky's taste for refined living. The mansion, bathed in natural light, features a sophisticated gray and white color scheme that enhances its spacious feel. The grand foyer, reminiscent of a boutique hotel, greets visitors with multiple archways and a sparkling chandelier, setting the tone for the rest of the home.

A fireplace serves as the focal point in the main living area, which seamlessly connects to a formal dining room—ideal for entertaining. The gourmet kitchen, equipped with high-end appliances, offers ample space for both meal preparation and casual dining, with seating for four at the central island.

The primary bedroom is a sanctuary of its own, boasting polished floors, built-in window seats, and custom drawers that add both style and functionality. Adjacent to the bedroom is a marble-adorned bathroom, complete with dual vanities and a luxurious soaking tub, offering a spa-like retreat.

The lower level of the home is designed for relaxation and entertainment, featuring a spacious family room, a small gym area, and a full bath. A catering kitchen on this level makes hosting large gatherings a breeze. Outside, the expansive lawn offers the potential for a pool, adding another layer of luxury to the property. A three-car garage rounds out the amenities, providing ample space for vehicles and storage.

Trubisky’s journey in the NFL has been marked by highs and lows. After a standout college career at North Carolina, he was drafted second overall by the Chicago Bears in 2017. His time in Chicago was a mix of promise and challenges, leading him to sign with the Bills in 2021 as a backup to Josh Allen. After a brief tenure with the Steelers, where he alternated between starting and backup roles, Trubisky is now returning to Buffalo, ready to reprise his role behind Allen.

As Trubisky settles back into Buffalo, the sale of his Pennsylvania mansion marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. While the new owners enjoy the luxury and comfort of their new home, Trubisky is once again focused on the gridiron, where he hopes to make his mark this season.
