Retired NBA All-Star Zach Randolph is making waves in the real estate market, listing his modern Los Angeles home for $8.5 million. Situated in the upscale Encino neighborhood of San Fernando Valley, the property boasts a distinctive architectural style that stands out in an area predominantly filled with modern farmhouses.

Randolph purchased this striking residence brand new in 2019 for just under $5.2 million, using a trust, according to property records. Spanning an impressive 8,500 square feet, the home features six bedrooms and ten bathrooms, including a primary suite complete with a “boutique-style walk-in closet.” The interior showcases wide-plank flooring throughout, complemented by floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light.

Designed for both relaxation and entertainment, the home is packed with amenities, such as a sauna, gym, home theater, full bar, and even a panic room with a vaulted door. The seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces is highlighted by glass pocket doors that lead to a backyard oasis, featuring both covered and uncovered seating areas, a pool and spa, an outdoor kitchen, a fire pit, and a full-size basketball court. The second floor also offers several balconies for enjoying the beautiful California weather.

Gated and surrounded by tall shrubbery, the property ensures privacy while being part of the prestigious Amestoy Estates community. Listing agent Rod Watson of Distinct Concierge Real Estate, who is marketing the property alongside his wife Laura and daughter Renecia, notes that this community often attracts buyers from the entertainment and sports industries due to its appealing price point compared to the more expensive neighborhoods of Beverly Hills and Bel-Air.

At 43 years old, Randolph had a celebrated 17-season NBA career, becoming a two-time All-Star during his standout years with the Memphis Grizzlies, where his jersey number, 50, was the first to be retired by the franchise.
