The 2024 Paris Olympics are almost here and if you haven't felt the energy yet, this should certainly help. CA Skateparks just shared the official renderings of the Park and Street courses and both designs are looking super proper. Dive in and get a closer look at both below!

CA Skateparks mentions in the caption:

"After completing the final Olympic Qualifying Series event course in Budapest, the CA Skateparks crew headed to The City Of Light to install the Paris 2024 Olympic courses. More than two years in planning, the Street and Park courses represent a logical progression from the events this year’s Olympians rode to qualify for Paris. The stage is set on the Place de La Concorde for the Street (July 27) and Park (August 6) competitions, and the setting couldn’t be more spectacular."

In an article on the World Skate website, Joe Ciaglia (Head Designer at California Skateparks) gives some insight behind the designs, “Because of limitations placed on continents and countries you aren’t necessarily getting the, say, top twenty on the course at any one time. So if you make it too hard and too risky, then its not fair to the people who don’t have the skill set for that- but you can’t tone it down enough that it hurts the guys who want the bigger risk. It’s hard to find that balance.”

A lot of hard work clearly went into building these courses—both physically and mentally—but I'd say the crew absolutely nailed it. I'm looking forward to watching both events and hope the best for all the skateboarders across the globe preparing to rip on the world stage. Shoutout to CA Skateparks on another great build. The countdown begins...
