Thunder Shares New Hand-Drawn Franky Villani Collection Featuring Trucks and Tee

Skateboarding and art go hand-in-hand. It’s almost useless to even say it, because it’s just that obvious. But more often than not, pro skaters are actually undercover artists themselves. Consider Franky Villani one of them.

Thunder just released a new set of Franky’s pro model trucks featuring some of his artwork, along with a tee just to really tie the knot. If you like Villani’s skating, I bet you’ll like his art, too. Take a look:

The jello-y red bushings add a nice contrast to the sleek black metal, right? At first glance, the trucks and tee look super rad. I’ve always loved when riders and brands link up and collaborate beyond tricks and skating. It’s nothing new, but it never gets old, either.

Franky’s (art) style is reminiscent of the doodles you’d sketch on your notebook in high school when you were bored in class, and I mean that only in the best way. It’s fun and relatable. Consider me a fan.
