Those who know Evan Mock know he leads quite an impressively charmed life. He's a skateboarder, a surfer, a business owner, and one of the rare humans in our (not-so-little-anymore) subculture who has been able to seamlessly blend everything from high-fashion and celebrity friendships with skating the streets, hopping in the van and constantly stacking clips all the same.

What's even more impressive is that he's genuinely a star in each of these worlds, effortlessly hanging with the best of the best and proving he's one of them all the same. The way he casually mentions attending the Met Gala and its exclusive after-parties while enjoying some noodles and rice—after a rad skate session, no less—speaks volumes. At least in my opinion. It’s a subtle (yet unmistakable) A-Lister attitude. Ha!

He has a lot on his plate right now. In fact, it seems like he always does, but as he mentions in the clip, "It's what keeps me sane."

I've always been a fan of Evan and really enjoyed this episode. On paper, it's easy to feel a little envious when you're on the outside looking in at this extraordinary life of his, but I wouldn't say it's envy as much as... inspiration , you know? Blending these worlds can be super difficult—you have to be pretty fearless—but his natural, cool, calm demeanor makes him the perfect candidate to make it happen.
