Four days in New York City in September that was packed with more skateboarding, events and good vibes than just about any other time we can remember in the Big Apple. It all started on Wednesday, September 25 with a "Creative Careers Visual Storytelling Panel" with legendary NYC filmmaker RB Umali and our own Blair Alley . The panel was led by Kava Vasquez and addressed the topics of coming up in the skate industry whether you're a skateboarder, photographer, filmer, or any other enthusiast of the culture.

NYC legend in his own right, Alex Corporan has some great photos in the IG carousel below:

The next day, Thursday, it was a big photo book release for Blair Alley, his first book featuring portraits he's shot of skaters over his 20 year tenure at TransWorld SKATEboarding . 20 Years 100 Portraits published by Friend Editions is available here.

After the book release, every headed up to Deluxx Fluxx for a rocking afterparty put on by Friends From New York headlined by legendary DJ Stretch Armstrong. It was a proper New York night!

Friday the 27th saw the Friendship Portraits session at the Burton store in SoHo. Drinks, DJs, skate videos and portraits shot by the talented Heidi Hartwig. After that we all headed to the classic Williamsburg venue Baby's All Right to catch a set by Ninjasonik.

Saturday... the rain came. The Brooklyn Banks jam had to get cancelled, but The Boardr boyz were in town from Tampa, and the show must go on! Junk james popped outside the LES park, cash and prizes was still given out, and a good time was had by all.

Once again the HHF went above and beyond and put on one of the greatest weekends of skateboarding, community and culture of the year. Stay up on their activities and donate if you can!
