SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation (SPAR) announced Thursday (July 25) that one of its pools is closing for the remainder of the summer season. Airport Park pool is closing due to mechanical issues requiring specialized parts and repairs. SPAR says the swimming season will be over by the time the repairs can be made, so the pool is closing now.
