    Rumored to be the oldest restaurant in Florida and the oldest Spanish eatery in the country, Columbia Restaurant has been family owned and operated for over 117 years.

    Columbia first opened within the Ybor City historic district in Tampa but currently has locations open in Sarasota, St. Augustine, Clearwater, and Orlando, so no matter where you live, you can experience the beauty this restaurant has to offer.

    Columbia is a spacious restaurant known for its multitude of spaces from laidback outdoor patios to refined dining rooms. Their original location in Tampa features a total of 52,000 square feet with seating to accommodate up to 1,700 people and encompasses an entire city block.

    There are 12 dining rooms in total here adorned with original Spanish tile floors, high ceilings, and walls covered in vintage photographs. Outside you'll find a traditional Spanish courtyard complete with Moorish architectural details alongside a fountain and terraced balcony.

    Patrons gather at Columbia to revel in the restaurant's fresh paella and sangria that's accompanied by the sounds of castanets and flamenco dancers which makes for an incredibly unique dining experience full of not just beauty, but history as well.
