Scoma's of Sausalito is one of those places. A bay area favorite, this seaside restaurant is known for one menu item in particular and it's garnered them somewhat of a cult-like following.

Located within San Francisco’s historic Fisherman’s Wharf District, Scoma's originally opened as a coffee shop that also offered seafood and sandwiches by the Sicilian Scoma family back in 1965. Today, it is regarded as one of the area's most iconic eateries and has found its way onto the National Register of Historic Buildings.

So what is the fan favorite dish here? Since Scoma's opening nearly 60 years ago, the Lazy Cioppino has been one of the most requested menu items.

In true Sicilian fashion, the Lazy Cioppino is a beautiful red-hued fisherman's stew dish comprised of a savory and rich tomato clam broth mixed with only the freshest calamari, crab meat, fish, mussels, prawns, and clams served with a side of crispy garlic bread for dipping.
