    Jay's Seafood Restaurant is located along Stony Gap Road in the town of Albemarle out in Stanly County.

    This no-frills eatery may not look like much from the outside, but don't let this exterior fool you. Jay's has won the hearts of many diners over the nearly 60 years it's been in business. Those who enjoy the food here come back often for the warm hospitality and friendly down-to-earth service.

    Step inside and you'll immediately be transported back in time. The restaurant's dining space features vintage signage and wood-paneled walls that will seriously have you feeling like you're dining in the home of an old relative.

    The real highlight here however is the unbeatable all-you-can-eat buffet spread which is easily one of the best in the state.

    These large, heated rows of fried fish, shrimp, and hush puppies stay warm and fresh.

    The buffet also features a wide array of home-style sides like mac and cheese, lima beans, mashed potatoes, biscuits, and okra.
