These Doughnuts have Been Named the Best in Pennsylvania

Oram's Donut Shop has been a beloved Pittsburgh area favorite since it opened over 80 years ago. The bakery is known for its old-fashioned interior and incredibly delicious and massive doughnut offerings.

The must-try here is their huge cinnamon roll doughnut. Often twice the size of the ones from other bakeries, this delectable treat has customers traveling from across the state to try it, and it is well worth the drive.

Of course, we can not forget about our iconic doughnut shops in the eastern half of the state as well. When it comes to the greater Philadelphia area, Food & Wine has also highlighted Federal Donuts–a humble little shop that opened in 2011 and now operates 11 locations throughout the city.

Federal is known for its simple straightforward donut options and mouth-watering fried and bbq chicken offerings. A winning combo that has catapulted them into Philadelphia notoriety that will most likely live on for generations to come.
