The Pictures of this Abandoned Race Track in New Jersey are Chilling

The Atlantic City Race Course, formerly known as the Atlantic City Race Track, was a Thoroughbred horse race track located in the Mays Landing section of Hamilton Township and opened back in 1946.

The track is located off the Black Horse Pike next to the Hamilton Mall. The facility closed permanently in 2015. The last day of racing was January 16 of that year.

After sitting vacant for almost a decade, the inside of the race track is eerily decaying. These photos captured by Chris Castor were taken in March of this year.
