This Beautiful Virginia City has Recently Been Named the Best Place to Live in the U.S.

    2024-08-05

Every year, Niche compiles a list of the best places to live in the United States.

They look at data from 2,300 different metropolitan areas and analyze key points to determine which towns and cities are desirable.

The surrounding job market, housing costs, and overall quality of life are all key factors that are considered when determining their rankings.

This year, one of Virginia’s smaller neighborhoods was named among the best places to live in the United States and quite frankly, we’re not surprised.

Located within the D.C. suburb of Arlington, Colonial Village is a historic garden apartment complex comprised of 226 different buildings built in four stages between 1935 and 1940. The buildings hold approximately 1,055 apartment units.

Colonial Village is filled with history, natural beauty, and has an easygoing vibe, making it a rather tempting place to consider moving to.

Livability has highlighted Colonial Village for its local restaurants, beautiful outdoor spaces, access to higher education, diversity, and local art.

Known for its excellent public transportation and public school systems, it comes as no surprise that this neighborhood is ranked as the number one in the nation for best places to live, best place for young professionals, and the number three spot for best place to raise a family.
