I-70 lane closure in effect in Trego County
The Kansas Department of Transportation has closed the eastbound driving lane on I-70 near mile marker 117 in Trego County. The closure is necessary because of safety concerns regarding the structure carrying 150th Avenue over the interstate. The speed limit has been reduced to 60 mph through this area of I-70.

The bridge carrying 150th Avenue over I-70 in Trego County was struck by an above-height load the evening of Tuesday, July 9. Crews from the Kansas Department of Transportation were mobilized after the incident to direct traffic and clean up debris that had fallen onto the eastbound lanes of I-70.
