One More Day of Heat Wave
The heat wave will last one more day before we get a break in the high temperatures. A heat advisory will be in effect for southeast Kansas, most of Oklahoma, southern Missouri and all of Arkansas today. The advisories start between 11 and 1 p.m. and will last until 8 p.m. Coffeyville is expected to see a high of 99 with a heat index up to 109 today.

St. Clair man injured in crash outside New Haven
A St. Clair man was injured in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The patrol reported that at approximately 5:06 a.m. a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado was traveling westbound on Deerwood Trail, near Stone Church Road, southwest of New Haven when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, through the front yard of 5030 Stone Church Road and into a ditch.

Mo. DNR awards $50K to Delta for wastewater system improvements
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KFVS) - The City of Delta was awarded a grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to evaluate the city’s wastewater system. The grant, which totals $50,000, is part of the DNR’s Clean Water Engineering Report Grant program, according to a release. This program offers funding to small communities for wastewater engineering costs incurred in preparation of a facility plan report.
