PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — Peoria police are asking for the public’s help in finding a murder suspect. According to a Tuesday Peoria police press release, 35-year-old Bryan Vann is wanted for first-degree murder in connection to the shooting death of another man in south Peoria. He is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall and 185 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Man loses everything, including his dog, after fire destroys his Woodford County home
WOODFORD COUNTY (25News Now) - A fire late Monday afternoon destroyed a home in Minonk, killing a dog, but the man who lived there was not home at the time. Minonk Fire Chief Steve Allen said the single-story modular home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived shortly before 5 p.m. The chief said neighbors also heard explosions, probably from oxygen tanks which may have fueled the fire.
