Lindon man charged with attempted murder in I-15 road rage case
LINDON — A Lindon man who police say shot at another vehicle after apparently being cut off is now facing criminal charges in the road rage case. Graham Alejandro Platner, 21, was charged Thursday in 4th District Court with attempted murder, a first-degree felony; and discharge of a firearm, a third-degree felony.

KEARNS — A local program that started in 2017 is helping get kids involved in winter sports. And not only that — they get to skate on the same ice as Olympians. “They love it; we keep coming back. My youngest says ice skating is her favorite part of the day. She’s like, ‘I love that it’s cold inside and it’s hot outside,’” said Maria McCurdy, who has two daughters in the program this summer.
Utah State Softball Adds Shelby Thompson to Coaching Staff
LOGAN, Utah – Utah State head softball coach Todd Judge announced the addition of Shelby Thompson to his coaching staff on Friday. Thompson will serve as an assistant coach. Thompson joins the Aggies after a strong playing career as a pitcher at UC San Diego. There, she made 73 appearances and 38 starts in the circle in four years from 2021-24. Her best season came as a senior in 2024, when she made 25 appearances and 16 starts for the Tritons. Thompson was a three-time Big West All-Academic Team honoree.
