Detour set up at Route 3 in Augusta as Maine State Police respond to incident
AUGUSTA, Maine — A section of Route 3 in Augusta was closed Tuesday afternoon while state police responded to a developing incident. Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss said in a news release that state troopers were at the scene of an incident in Augusta just before 3:30 p.m. Tactical and crisis negotiation teams were part of the response.
