New Military Monument to Grace Hillside Memory Gardens in Williston ND
The Williston Basin Military Affairs Committee is currently fundraising for a new military monument to be placed at the entrance of Hillside Memory Gardens. The monument, named "Patriot Gate," will feature two statues: one depicting a Gold Star mother kneeling on both knees and the other showing a soldier kneeling on one knee. This unique memorial will honor not only those who fell in battle but also their families.

Construction underway on former NDSU Engineering Administration building
FARGO – Construction and renovations are underway on the former Engineering Administration building at NDSU. The building will be replaced by Offerdahl Hall and the Richard Offerdahl ’65 Engineering Complex. Funding for the project includes a historic $25 million gift from Richard and Linda Offerdahl, $59 million from the legislature, and gifts from Doosan Bobcat, Mortenson, Marvin, and numerous other benefactors.
