Dodge County Sheriff's Office investigates second motorcycle crash of July 6

TRENTON, Wis. -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Office announced Saturday it is investigating a motorcycle crash on Redwood Road, near Jersey Road, in Trenton.

The Sheriff's Office said the involved motorcycle was traveling in a group when its speed was too high to negotiate a curve, ejecting the operator, a 19-year-old Beaver Dam man, from the vehicle. The operator locked up the brakes and lost control of the motorcycle.

The Sheriff's Office said the operator was wearing a helmet, but sustained serious injuries. He was driven to the hospital before later being flown by helicopter to a trauma center.
