Tanks roll into Berwick for World War II Weekend
BERWICK, Pa. — Tanks are rolling into Berwick for the seventh Berwick World War II weekend event. "Every morning, they'll be a convoy up through downtown Berwick and back; the tanks aren't a part of the convoy, but they'll probably be about two dozen vehicles going up through; tonight, we have a free airing of Sands of Iwo Jima, free to the public at the Berwick Theater at 7p.m.", said Thomas McLaughlin secretary board of directors at the Stewart Tank Memorial Association.

Man arrested after shooting barbershop owner in Wilkes-Barre
WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — A man who shot a business owner in Luzerne County in May of last year has been arrested. United States Marshall announced the arrest of 34-year-old Julio Rivas of Wilkes-Barre on Friday morning. Rivas was located and arrested in the 10 block of Elizabeth Street in Wilkes-Barre without incident and turned over to the Wilkes-Barre Police.

Sample Earns Bronze in 100-Meter Dash at the U.S. Paralympic Team Trials
MIRAMAR, Fla.- Rayven Sample '24 won bronze in the 100-meter dash in the T45-47 Divisions on Saturday morning at the U.S. Paralympic Team Trials. Sample's time of 11.44 finished third overall, and as the only runner in the T45 field, clinched first in his division. The graduated Bucknell dashman obtained a solid get-off and kept a solid clip through the first 50 meters. Sample reached into his fuel reserves and added a final burst to gain his bronze standing.
