A city employee with the Parks and Recreation Department was stabbed in Rittenhouse Square on Sunday.Philadelphia police say they responded to the incident just after 4 p.m.According to investigators, a 34-year-old man went inside a booth in the park and laid down.That's when the city park ranger reportedly told the suspect he wasn't allowed in the booth.Police say the suspect then stabbed the city employee, who was overseeing security at Rittenhouse Square.The 40-year-old victim suffered injuries to his face above his eye, according to police."He suffered a laceration to the face above the eye. Man, woman hospitalized after being shot in Kensington
Investigators are looking into a shooting in the city's Kensington section.It happened around 3 a.m. Sunday.Police say a 22-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man drove themselves to the hospital after being shot.The female victim is said to have suffered a gunshot wound to the head.Investigators later found a scene at Tioga and Harville streets, and determined that was where the victims were attacked.No word on their current conditions.So far no arrests have been made.

Two men injured after shooting outside house party in North Philadelphia
Two men are in the hospital after a shooting outside of a house party in North Philadelphia.It happened around 2 a.m. Sunday on the 3100 block of North Judson Street.According to police, the victims say they were standing outside a shot-term rental property house party when a gunman came up and fired at least 16 shots.The two men were struck at least once. They were taken to the hospital where they are listed in stable condition.This is an ongoing investigation. No arrests have been made.
