RICHLAND, Wash. - A crash involving multiple vehicles blocked westbound SR 240 in Richland on Monday, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation. Washington State Patrol Trooper Chris Thorson says a pickup truck and a trailer crashed at milepost 36, which caused three more collisions. Two two-car crashes and a five-car crash with multiple injuries happened.

Columbia Park Trail closed while Kennewick crews battle brush fire
KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Kennewick Police Department closed Columbia Park Trail between North Edison Street and North Columbia Center Boulevard Monday morning for a brush fire. The smoke was reportedly seen by drivers on Highway 240. The Kennewick Fire Department said the fire burned about 3 acres of brush. They are still investigating the cause.
