    Suspect in Triana shooting caught in Michigan, charged with capital murder

    MADISON COUNTY, Ala. ( WHNT ) — The Madison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) says the suspect in a Triana shooting on July 2 was caught in the state of Michigan.

    Detectives said they identified the suspect as 43-year-old Renardo May. They said May was caught in Michigan and is currently being held pending extradition to Madison County.

    The shooting took place in the 100 block of Swancott Road at around 5 p.m. on July 2.

    MCSO said there was only one victim, Jonathan Parcus, who died after being transported to Huntsville Hospital.

    May has been charged with capital murder for the death of Parcus.

    The investigation is ongoing, and MCSO is asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward and help bring justice to the victim and his loved ones.
