    Clay M. Zlatnik

    Clay Michael Zlatnik, 70, of Kennewick, died Aug. 2 at home.

    He was born in Riverton, Wyo., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 41 years.

    The U.S. Navy veteran was a retired senior nuclear reactor operator.

    Hillcrest Funerals and Cremation, Kennewick, is in charge of arrangements.

    Joyce E. Taylor

    Joyce Elain Taylor, 92, of Sunnyside, died Aug. 4 in Richland.

    She was born in Chehalis and lived in Sunnyside for 90 years.

    She worked in the retail industry.

    Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, is in charge of arrangements.

    Richard L. Thompson

    Richard Louis Thompson, 84, of Kennewick, died Aug. 2 in Kennewick.

    He was born in Renton and lived in the Tri-Cities for eight years.

    He was a retired draftsman for Boeing.

    Mueller’s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, Kennewick, is in charge of arrangements.

    Nancy J. Austin

    Nancy J. Austin, 94, of Richland, died Aug. 5 at the Richland Rehabilitation Center.

    She was born in Yakima and lived in the Tri-Cities for 70 years.

    She was a retired elementary teacher for the Kiona Benton City School District.

    Life Tributes Cremation Center, Kennewick, is in charge of arrangements.
