October in Tri-Cities has it all, from concert crawls to corn mazes and pumpkin patches

By October, fall festivities are in full swing in Tri-Cities. Even if the temperatures are still in the 70s, you’ll find fall markets, corn mazes and spooky events all month.
There’s also a myriad of events not specific to spooky season, like the return of Tri-City Americans games , the annual RiverFest events at Columbia Park, weekly open mic and trivia nights, specialty football game nights and more.
Here’s what’s going on across Tri-Cities during the month of October.
Fall festivities, Halloween events in Tri-Cities
There are plenty of Trunk or Treats and family-friendly festivals planned, including:
Oct. 4 - Fall Festival at the Benton City Community Center - 4 to 11 p.m. - Free
Oct. 31 - Halloween with the Tri-City Americans at Summer’s Hub - 5 p.m. - Free
There are also several corn mazes, pumpkin patches and other seasonal activities available.
Middleton Farms’ Fall Festival begins Oct. 2. Dozer Week is Oct. 9- 14, Touch a Tractor from Oct. 16 to 20 and Maze Theme Week is Oct. 23-27. Trick or treating will be at the farm on Halloween. Daily hours are available online.
The Pumpkin Patch at Job’s Nursery is open through Halloween, Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Rocktober 2024 at The Living Room is free to attend, with some attractions for purchase, open Oct. 12- 13 from 1 to 5 p.m.
Wolfies Pumpkins in Benton City is open Fridays from 3:30 to 7 p.m., weekends from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and weekdays by appointment.
Villa’s Lil Pumpkin Patch at Villa’s Fresh Produce is open through October as well, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
Queensgate Gardens has a pumpkin patch and corn maze, plus additional attractions, open Thursday and Friday from 2 to 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The local bars and wineries have many events planned, too.
Notably, The Emerald of Siam and Ray’s Golden Lion are offering a joint Hallowicked Pub Crawl on Oct. 25 and 26. One ticket includes four events across the two days and two venues, featuring 10 bands. Full weekend admission is $25 , but single event tickets are available as well. Friday at Ray’s will feature a Costume Party with Itchy Kitty, Datura, Cruel Velvet and Dagger Face, and Saturday will feature The Nightcry, Starcourt, Wolftron and 21 Libras.
At The Emerald of Siam, Oct. 25 will feature Zombie Prom with Stonehed at 9 p.m., and Oct. 26 will feature Ghouls Ball with Lost Ox at 9 p.m.
