Tourism impact increases in Trigg
Tourism has had a greater impact in the past year in the local community, figures shared by Tourism Executive Director Bill Stevens indicate. Speaking during a June 11 meeting of the Cadiz-Trigg County Tourist Commission, Stevens noted that tourism spending in Trigg County jumped up to $31.4 million in 2023, reflecting an increase from the $26.71 million in tourism spending in the community the previous year.
Cadiz Man Charged With Failing To Stop For Law Enforcement
A Cadiz man was charged with fleeing from law enforcement on a motorcycle during a traffic stop on Hopkinsville Road in Trigg County Sunday night. Trigg County Sheriff’s Deputy Kenny Vincent says he attempted to stop 26-year-old Reginald Radford for going 15 mph over the speed limit and he failed to stop and turned onto Kings Chapel Road.
Truck Stolen In Trigg County Recovered In Tennessee
A truck that was reported stolen in Cerulean in February was located in Tennessee Monday afternoon. Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree says the truck was recovered by the Dickson County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office and was one of three that had been recovered after being reported stolen in Trigg County.
