Man Flown To Nashville Hospital After Horse And Buggy Crash
A man was flown to a Nashville hospital after a horse and buggy wreck on Buffalo Cerulean Road in Trigg County Wednesday morning. Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say the horse got spooked causing the horse to pull the buggy off the roadway ejecting the driver Lawrence Burkholder off the buggy.
Stevens to step down as tourism director
Longtime Executive Director Bill Stevens is stepping down from his post as the head of the Cadiz-Trigg County Tourist Commission. Stevens, who has struggled recently with his health, made the announcement during Tuesday’s commission meeting at the tourism offices on Hopkinsville Road, noting that his retirement will be effective as of July 31.
