St. Louis Cardinals season is literally under water after latest travel disaster
Whatever good vibes the St. Louis Cardinals had after their brief three-game winning streak vanished on Saturday, as they lost 6-1 against the Minnesota Twins. Sonny Gray had a chance to not only keep the good times rolling for his team as they attempt to make an unlikely run to the postseason, but he had a chance to beat his former team as well. He wound up allowing five runs in six innings of work and was outpitched by Pablo Lopez who kept the Cardinals off the board entirely. St. Louis lost 6-0 and fell back below the .500 mark. The cherry on top was the Cardinals losing star catcher Willson Contreras due to injury.

Former Chiefs Draft Pick Cut by AFC Threat After Preseason Finale
Former Kansas City Chiefs second-round pick Breeland Speaks will hope to land on another team’s 53-man roster after another successful stint in spring football. The Jacksonville Jaguars announced on Sunday that they’ve waived six players ahead of Tuesday’s 53-man roster deadline, including Speaks. The 28-year-old Speaks joined the Jaguars earlier this month after finishing his second year playing spring football with the Michigan Panthers.
John Mozeliak should pay attention to Cardinals legend's latest managerial step
If there's any team that loves its legends, it's the St. Louis Cardinals and their fans. Jim Edmonds, an outfielder who played eight seasons with the Redbirds, is now a color commentator on their TV broadcast. Yadier Molina, a legendary catcher and (hopefully) future Hall of Famer, is a special advisor to John Mozeliak and is a player Cardinals fans have been wanting to manage their team since he hung up his spikes.
Chiefs final roster projection should infuriate Kadarius Toney, but delight fans
The Kansas City Chiefs have a tough choice to make on their final 53-man roster: Should they bank on Kadarius Toney's upside, or finally give in to reality? Toney has done plenty to frustrate Chiefs fans, including but not limited to an offsides penalty that otherwise ruined one of the best plays of Travis Kelce's season, creating drama prior to the Super Bowl via his injury designation by the team, and finally making two preseason mistakes on the same play.

A Chiefs-Texans trade to tell Kadarius Toney ‘good riddance’ once and for all
It's most certainly not reinventing the wheel to say that the Kansas City Chiefs have endured their share of headaches and issues with wide receiver Kadarius Toney since acquiring him in a trade with the New York Giants for the former first-round pick. Costly drops, more costly penalties, mental mishaps and just generally not performing up to his talent level -- it's all been problematic for Toney.
‘Chiefs have done it again,’ claims Good Morning Football host after rookie ‘gets the attention of Patrick Mahomes’
GOOD Morning Football’s Peter Schrager raved about the Kansas City Chiefs rookie’s performance against the Chicago Bears on Thursday. The NFL Network analyst made the comments about a Chiefs‘ undrafted offensive player who also impressed Patrick Mahomes. Chiefs rookie tailback Carson Steele posted just four carries but rushed for 50 yards in the team’s 34-21 […]

Many in Missouri Want a Secure Border – From Kansas
I predict this will turn into a dumpster fire of political comments, but that's certainly not the way I intend it. It's a true story about how many in Missouri are concerned about a secure border - not from Mexico, but Kansas. It's not often that a political statement on...
