CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Developers are planning to put a new hotel along Morrison Drive to serve tourists and residents looking for a “staycation.”. Plans for the hotel include a 10-story building with 250 rooms. The hotel design has plans for a rooftop restaurant, bar and pool, adding a freestanding four-story building next to the hotel.
20-year-old's death in Manning draws state agents and a public plea
MANNING, S.C. — Manning Police are investigating the Wednesday shooting death of a 20-year-old man with help from the county deputies and state agents. A department spokesperson said deputies were called to the Bellwood area of town, where they found the victim, Christopher Forehand of Manning, with a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel were called to the scene, but the victim was pronounced dead by the Clarendon County Coroner's Office.
