DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A second person has been indicted in connection with the dismembered human body discovered at a Trotwood home in April.

On Wednesday, July 3, the Montgomery County Grand Jury returned an indictment for Amanda Reiff on two charges:

    • Complicity to Commit Tampering with Evidence
    • Complicity to Commit Gross Abuse of a Corpse

Human remains were discovered at a Trotwood residence on April 22. Thanks to the serial number on the hardware embedded during a knee replacement surgery, the severed legs were identified as belonging to Edgar Keiter Sr., 75.

On May 1 — the same day Keiter’s son, Edgar Keiter Jr., 52, was arrested — a search warrant was executed on a storage unit on Guenther Road recently rented by Keiter Jr. During the search, officers found the rest of Keiter Sr.’s corpse.

Keiter Jr. was indicted on several counts including gross abuse of a corpse.
