Texas Sending Fewer Busloads Of Illegals To Sanctuary Cities
Texas is sending fewer busloads of illegal immigrants lately to "sanctuary cities" run by Democrats. Gov. Greg Abbott has sent thousands of illegals over the past two years to cities like New York and Chicago. But the most recent bus to roll out of Texas left El Paso on June 27th, carrying 50 illegals to New York City. The reduced traffic is reportedly because of fewer illegal crossings at the border in recent weeks. An Abbott spokesman says the governor's Operation Lone Star border security initiative, including a floating border barrier, has helped reduced illegal crossings by 85%.
