POLICE: 1 dead, 1 arrested following shooting in Gladewater
GLADEWATER, Texas — A man has been arrested in Gladewater after a shooting that left one woman dead. Gladewater Police responded to the scene of a shooting incident at 220 S. Ferry St. around 11:16 p.m. on Saturday. Officials say when emergency crews arrived, they found Sheri Evans, a resident of the address, suffering from a gunshot wound. She died from her injuries at the scene.
