TROUTMAN, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Troutman man was arrested on 10 felony charges after authorities say they discovered materials containing child sexual abuse in his home.

According to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a tip in February containing multiple files of suspect child sexual abuse material. Detective E. Lane obtained a search warrant on the social media account identified in the CyberTip to receive additional information.

On June 20, detectives with the Iredell County Special Victims Unit and additional deputies executed a search warrant at the suspect’s lakefront home, on Sierra Woods Drive in southern Iredell County. The search allegedly located additional electronic devices and computer hardware which were seized by the investigators.

Following the search, 70-year-old Paul Howard Beha was arrested at the residence for 10 counts of felony second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Beha was transported to the Iredell County Detention Center and was issued a $50,000 secured bond. This investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be forthcoming.
