The Pike County Extension Office in Troy will again be the site for the VITA Tax Program.

Abby Peters, Pike County Extension coordinator, said the VITA Tax program is now available from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Pike County Extension office on South Brundidge Street and will extend through March 28.

“This program is a free tax service for limited income families in our area.,” Peters said. “The VITA Tax Program is for those making $60,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. “

Peters said clients will need to drop off all tax documents and information, direct deposit information, and all other tax information from 2023.

For any questions, call the Pike County Extension Office at 334-566-0985.
