JCA to host School of Music honors recital

As often, there is exciting news from the Troy University John M. Long School of Music at Troy University.

The annual Honors Recital, in which the best music students are chosen by audition to be featured in a concert is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, April 18.

Dr. Scott Sexton, said this year’s concert is unique in that it will be held at the Johnson Center for the Arts.

“To my understanding, the year’s concert will feature eight students which are some of the best music they’ve had in a while,” Sexton said.

All those who enjoy great music played by outstanding Troy University students should not wait to circle, Thursday, April 18, on their calendars.

This will be a great opportunity to enjoy outstanding music by Troy University music students in a great setting, Sexton said.
