The Book Store at the Troy Public Library has the best deals in town.

Perhaps, the best book deals, anywhere.

Just this week, the Book Nook has, through the generosity of its patrons, has almost unbelievable deals on the shelves …and standing like a sentry between the shelves.

Iris Byrd, Book Store manager, said generous and unique donations have been made to the Book Store and are now available to the public.

Unopened boxes of National Geographic Magazine are considered a treasure by collectors and the Book Store has a stack of them. The Book Store also has a collection of puzzles that are especially unique in that the puzzles are wood.

Byrd said the puzzles are also unique in that there are no edge pieces, adding to the difficulty of “framing” the puzzle.

The add greater interest, the pieces are the in different shapes including flowers and animals. A completed puzzle is an art piece and worth framing, Byrd said.

Those who enjoy challenges will not find any greater than the wooden puzzles at the Book Store in the Troy Public Library.
