    Troy Fair returning for its 148th year

    TROY, Pa. ( WETM ) – The Troy Fair is returning for its 148th year next week with many shows, rides, games, food and fun for the whole family to enjoy.

    The Troy Fair will open its doors on Monday, July 22, and run daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. until Saturday, July 27. Admission at the door is $10 per ticket and includes rides. Tuesday will be free admission for seniors and Thursday will be free for military members.

    Mansfield Borough to host free swim night next week

    Pre-sale tickets are available online at a discounted rate for $8 plus tax, and $6 for admission with no rides. This deal ends Friday, July 19, so make sure to get your presale tickets as soon as possible! Additional tickets will be available for those interested in attending shows at the grandstand throughout the week.

    Grandstand shows this year will include truck and tractor pulls, bull riding and demolition derbies. This year’s big concert will be spearheaded by country music singer Kameron Marlowe with opening acts from Clark Jackson and Aaron Kelly. Tickets for these shows can be found online as well.

    Elmira School District to provide free school supplies

    Free shows will take place daily, including entertainment from Hypnotist Richard Barker, Rosaire’s Racing Pigs, Woodcarver Dennis Beach and Mega-Morph the transforming car. Additionally, free musical performances will take place in the pavilion daily, including music from Jimmy Mowery, Jacob Gilpin, Uptown Band, Clark Jackson, Aaron Kelly and the Mack Berry Band.
