STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — LiGreci’s Staaten, the popular dining, catering, and event venue in West Brighton, was constructed in 1956 after a fire on December 5, 1955, destroyed the large house on the property, according to Staten Island Advance archives. Mike Bilotto was the proprietor until Nick LiGreci and his brother, Jack LiGreci, purchased it from Bilotto in 1971.
