Town of Salina dedicates new community center to fallen Onondaga County officers
SALINA, N.Y. — The Town of Salina is dedicating its new community center to two fallen heroes. In April, Syracuse Police Officer Michael Jensen and Onondaga County Sheriff's Deputy Lt. Michael Hoosock were shot and killed in an ambush in Salina. On Monday, town officials were joined by members of the officers' families to unveil that the town's new community center will be called the "Hoosock-Jensen Salina Community Center."
