Senior Resource Group Begins Expansion of Maravilla Scottsdale in Arizona
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Senior Resource Group has started the planned expansion of Maravilla Scottsdale, a seniors housing community in the Phoenix suburb of Scottsdale. Neighboring the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess hotel and The Champions Course at TPC Scottsdale golf course, Maravilla Scottsdale has served older adults since its opening in 2012. The current community comprises 217 units, including 157 independent living, 36 assisted-living and 24 memory care residences.

Tempe man on trial for feeding homeless now faces ‘vindictive’ ban
The city of Tempe has already hauled Austin Davis into court for feeding the homeless without a permit. Now the city’s war on Davis has taken on a new front. On July 1, Davis said, a Tempe park ranger spitefully cited him for trespassing at Moeur Park, where he’d arrived after the park had closed to clean up trash. As a result, Davis has been banned from all Tempe parks in the Papago Park Preserve — impeding but not halting his efforts to feed the unhoused there — through August 2.
Arizona man sentenced to 25 years in prison for 2021 murder of his girlfriend
PHOENIX — Cecil Noyola, 66, who earlier this year was found guilty of murdering his girlfriend and fleeing the state, was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Wednesday.
